Patrice Brunet, with over three decades of experience, is the founder and managing director of Patrice Brunet Avocats. Renowned for his expertise in business immigration both in Canada and in the US, high-profile companies and clients rely on him for obtaining visas, work permits, hiring specialized workers from abroad, and navigating citizenship and permanent residence applications. In the mid-2000s, Mr. Brunet served as Chair of the Quebec Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AQAADI), earning trust for his discretion and delivering high-quality services. Accredited by the Barreau du Québec as a civil and commercial arbitrator, he also serves as a neutral arbitrator for various organizations, including the ADRBO, ADR Chambers, the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC), and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Brunet has been involved in sports law since 1995, serving as an arbitrator. He frequently appears in Canadian and American media to provide insights on immigration and sports law matters. He was awarded the prestigious Arista-Sunlife Award and has authored publications like "Le droit du sport au Québec et au Canada" in 2018.

Mr. Brunet's involvement extends to executive roles, including his position as Executive President of Podium Productions since January 2016. He was a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee, is an arbitrator for the Court of Arbitration for Sport since 1995, and a member of World Triathlon since 1993. Additionally, he serves as a lecturer at the University of Sherbrooke since 2022.
